The goal of this work was to combine digital and analog production techniques; it was more about the process itself than the result. The use of CAD programs and the implementation as 3D print resulted in the possibility of a three-dimensional shaped tile. The 3D print was just a template for a mold that could be used to mass produce concrete tiles. The C-Tile can be arranged in many different ways, whereby the three-dimensional form allows the tiles to merge into each other and thus form larger structures.
The C-Tile was part of the IMIAD exhibition in Taşkışla , Istanbul 2019.
